Every ring recovery mission comes with its own unique story, but this one is extra special. While coming back from a tough, unsuccessful recovery mission in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec last week, our phone rang. It was Taylor, calling us at Ontario Ring Recovery Services for help. He had lost his precious gold wedding band while swimming in Lake Ontario.
Heading Back Out for Redemption
After falling short on our previous mission up north, today’s dive felt like the ultimate shot at redemption. Carlos geared up and headed out onto the water, ready to brave the conditions and search the lake bottom in 20 feet of water.

While the water itself was crystal clear, Carlos had to contend with about 5 inches of silt covering the bottom, alongside area’s of thick weeds.
Mission Accomplished!
Conditions tested his skills, but experience paid off. Carlos navigated the silt and thick vegetation to scan the area where Taylor took the plunge, successfully locating the missing gold band and bringing it back to the surface.

Giving a lost wedding ring back to its rightful owner is always the best part of what we do. From a disappointing trip in Quebec to a triumphant success on Lake Ontario, this redemption story is one we won’t forget anytime soon!
