Standard Rate Guidelines For The (Kingston & Surrounding Area)
The rates below serve as a general baseline and guideline for recovery operations originating in the Kingston, Ontario area.
We operate on a straightforward two-part fee structure designed to keep costs reasonable while ensuring a dedicated, professional effort for every search:
1. Basic non negotiable
Call-Out Fee — $75
- Covers: On-site assessment, equipment setup, and dedicated search time on location.
- Paid: Prior to the start of the search.
2. Successful Recovery Fee — $75
Site & Out-of-Pocket Fees: Any third-party costs required to perform the search—such as road or bridge tolls, provincial/national park entry fees, parking, or even boat launch fees—will be added directly to your recovery quote.
Covers: The successful location and return of your lost item.
Paid: Only when your item is safely back in your hands.
Travel / Mileage: $0.75 per km (Round trip), This Fee is for recoveries outside of Kingston’s city limits. This will be calculated from the home location of your assigned recovery specialist to the search site, & back again
