Accidents happen when you least expect them. For Gabriel, a simple afternoon at the park watching her son play soccer turned into a stressful situation when her wedding band accidentally slipped off.
The Disappearing Wedding Band
While sitting on a blanket on the grassy field, Gabriel removed her wedding band to apply sunscreen to her newborn baby. Distracted, she forgot to put the ring back on. When she got up and shook out her blanket, the precious ring vanished into the thick grass.
The Search and Discovery
Armed with my metal detector and precision gear, I returned to the exact spot two days later to help. It didn’t take long before my detector signaled a hit, and right there nestled in the green blades of grass was Gabriel’s lost wedding band.

A Joyful Reunion
I immediately called Gabriel to share the good news. When she came to meet me to collect her jewelry, her relief and excitement were absolute.
”You’re literally my savior! … I was so devastated that day.” — Gabriel
