James Mathias founded Kingston, Ontario Ring Recovery Services (KORRS), now also known as Ontario Ring Recovery Services (ORRS). For the past four years, James Mathias has provided metal detecting and ring recovery services as a hobby, often helping individuals all over Ontario.
James has also founded the SEOMDC or the Southeastern Ontario Metal Detecting Club!
If you want to find a lost ring, piece of jewelry, car key Fob, phone, or any other sentimental item you lost then James has specifically designed this site to unite some of the most elite detectorists throughout the province of Ontario.
In 2024 James Partnered up with Ryan Pugh to help create the best available service in Kingston Ontario, however this idea quickly turned province wide when James managed to coordinate with some of the best detectorists throughout the province to help recover lost items. After self publishing 2 metal detecting books and creating social community events and hosting several metal detecting events! James Mathias created Kingston Ontario Ring Recovery Services to help folks across the province reunite with sentimental items and put smiles back on upset faces.
Now, both James Mathias and Ryan Pugh, have hand-picked a team of skilled detectorists dedicated to maximizing recovery chances. These specialized team members are categorized by location and equipped for various recovery scenarios, including land, shallow water, and even deep water searches.
